Programs & Fees

At Miss Amber’s Daycare, we’re proud to offer safe, engaging, and personalized childcare that grows with each stage of development, from baby’s first smiles to after-school adventures. Whether you're looking for full-time care, part-time options, or the occasional drop-in day, we’re here to support your family's needs with flexibility, warmth, and a whole lot of learning through play.

Conveniently located near downtown Plymouth and Plymouth State University, we’re easy to reach for commuting families throughout Central New Hampshire, including the communities of Campton, Holderness, Ashland, Rumney, and surrounding areas.

Programs

We provide childcare for children ages 6 weeks to 13 years, grouped into three developmental stages:

  • Infants & Toddlers (6 weeks-2 years) - Gentle care, nurturing routines, and sensory-rich experiences help our youngest learners feel safe and supported.

  • Preschoolers (3-5 years) - These curious explorers enjoy a playful, theme-based curriculum designed to build early literacy, numeracy, creativity, and independence.

  • School-Age Children (6-13 years) - We offer before- and after-school care, plus full-day care during school breaks and vacation weeks, including field trips to parks, farms, and local attractions.

A Typical Day

Our day is a blend of structure and flexibility, designed around the rhythms and needs of the children. Mornings start with breakfast and circle time, followed by creation stations, outdoor play, lunch, and nap or quiet rest time. Afternoons include free play, snacks, and more outdoor exploration.

Learning Through Play

We believe children learn best by doing. That’s why our curriculum is hands-on, sensory-based, and filled with opportunities to explore. One week we might be measuring pumpkins, the next we’re building castles out of blocks or digging in the sensory bin.

We focus on early childhood fundamentals, such as counting, colors, letters, and social-emotional development through creative, messy, imaginative play. And yes, reading is a big part of our day, every day!

Enrichment Activities

We incorporate music, movement (including Cosmic Kids Yoga), seasonal crafts, simple STEM experiments, nature walks, and field trips to spark curiosity and keep learning fresh and fun.

Supporting Social & Emotional Growth

We help children build confidence, kindness, and community. Through peer play, clear boundaries, and plenty of support, children learn to express themselves, solve problems, and feel proud of their progress.

Meals

We provide a healthy breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack to all children (at no extra charge to families) through the USDA Food Program. You don’t need to pack meals unless your child has a special diet that you’d prefer to manage directly.

For children under 2, we follow your child’s feeding schedule and preferences. We provide formula and infant food, or are happy to use what you send from home.

Typical Menu Highlights

  • Breakfast: Eggs, toast, fruit, milk

  • Lunch: Pasta with meat sauce, veggies, milk

  • Snack: Yogurt and fruit, cheese and crackers, or veggie sticks

We’re very familiar with a wide range of food allergies and dietary restrictions and can accommodate most needs. Just let us know what works best for your child. We’ll make it happen.

Health & Safety

Your child’s well-being is our top priority.

Illness Policy

We ask that you keep your child home if they’re not feeling well. If they become sick during the day, we’ll call and ask you to pick them up within 30 minutes. We follow a clear set of health guidelines to keep everyone safe.

Cleaning & Sanitation

We use natural, non-toxic cleaning products—many made with essential oils—to keep our environment clean without exposing children to harsh chemicals or perfumes. Toys and surfaces are sanitized regularly, and handwashing is part of our daily routine.

Emergency Care

We’re trained in CPR and First Aid, and we have detailed emergency procedures in place. In the event of illness or injury, you’ll be contacted right away. In serious situations, we’ll contact emergency services and your child’s emergency contact.
